Jacques in 1952. They lived on Bay Ridge Parkway in
Brooklyn, then moved to Maine in 1980.

training in Artillery Unit, then shipped to Pacific, serving
in Papua New Guinea and Philippines.

Member of the "3 Sisters". Married Jack Moran (Eileen
Moran's cousin) in 1947 and had 5 children.

||Friend of Peggy Doyle's originally, but
became one of the members of the group of friends of which
Frank & Joe were part. John exchanged letters throughout
the war with Peggy, Frank and Gene Dembinski.

John failed the Army's physical exam, and took classes at
Columbia while working. In 1944, he got a job with the State
Department as Vice-Consul in Cairo, Egypt.
John was well-known in his circle of friends for his writing style. As his letters attest, he was very attracted to lengthy and ornate sentences.

||Frank's classmate from St. Michael's HS. Became a
navigator and died in a crash in England 3 days before VE
Day. The crash occurred on the Highclere estate, now known
as the setting for the TV series "Downton Abbey". A
memorial to the crew has been created at the crash site.

||Frank's girlfriend circa 1952. Later re-established
contact with her in 1979/1980. Lived in Lynn MA at 42 Graves
Ave. She died on 2/22/2000 (born 2/8/1919). See full set of
